Caedmon
Caedmon was the earliest and first known poet in English Literature. He was called the oldest poet in English Literature. He was a poet of Christian style. He composed only religious poems. He was the representative poets of the old English Christian poetry. Some also referred to him as the Milton of the Anglo-Saxon era. He was the father of the English Sacred Song.
