Rahim: I went to Dhaka to attend a seminar on environment pollution.
Karim : Oh, very good. How was the seminar?
Rahim: The seminar was very significant as the content of the seminar was very important.
Karim: Would you please tell me about the environment pollution.
Rahim : Of course. What do you want to know?
Karim: There are many things around us such as friends, trees, animals, soil, water, air, sunlight, houses. I know that all the things around us make our environment. But I don't have clear idea about environment pollution?
Rahim: Ok. Environment pollution means a remarkable change in the environment. At present, it has become a serious problem in the world.
Karim: What are the causes of environment pollution?
Rahim: There are many causes of environment pollution. Industrialization, Over population, deforestation, smoke from motor vehicles, harmful waste, chemical fertilizers, unsold products, use of CFC, increase of carbon-di-oxide, greenhouse gases etc. are the causes of environment pollution.
Karim: What are the effects of environment pollution?
Rahim: It has so many effects. It disturbs our ecological balance and nature. It is very dangerous in human life and wild life.
Karim: What kinds of problem may we face?
Rahim: Environment pollution takes us to the way of death. It makes people sick, such as cancer, respiratory illness, waterborne diseases, and skin problem.
Karim: I think, If we do not reduce environmental pollution, one day the world will turn into a great desert. Can you please tell me, how can we reduce environment pollution?
Rahim: First of all, we need to plant more and more trees. To reduce environment pollution, We need to reducing waste or garbage. We also need to grow public awareness. Government, media and educated people should come forward and take proper steps for reduce environment pollution.
