Water is a very important element of our environment, human life and plant life. It is next to air. When harmful things get mixed into the water than it is called water pollution. There are many causes of water pollution. Throwing trash, oil, harmful waste, chemical fertilizers, unsold products, into water cause water pollution. In the village, unsanitary latrines cause water pollution. It has so many effects. Polluted water contains waste and harmful matter. It is very dangerous in our environment, human life and wild life. Polluted water is unsafe for people. It causes many disease such as diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery and typhoid. It is also responsible for skin disease. To reduce water pollution, we need to stop putting waste or garbage into the water. We also need to grow public awareness. Government, media and educated people should come forward and take proper steps for reduce water pollution.
