In general, drug addiction means taking heroine, opium, cocaine, phensidyl, morphine ganja etc. some of these are taken by smoking or through injection. It is a powerful and complex disease. It affects a person's brain and behavior. It badly affects both the body and mind of the addicted person. It can be life threatening. Actually, drug addiction is a social cancer. There are many reasons of drug addiction. Frustration is the main cause of drug addiction.
Unemployment problem, lack of family ties, lack of love, lack of affection, breakup of love etc. give rise to frustration. keeping bad company is another major cause of it. Drug addiction gives rise to various social crimes. When addicted can not afford to drugs, they commit many kinds of social crimes like snatching, looting, plundering killing, robbery etc. In the world drug addiction problem is now increasing day by day. Young generation is easily addicted to drug in so many reasons. These are availability of drug, poor activities of the law enforcement sectors, political support to the drug Mafia etc. So, now it is our global problem. It's bad effects are huge. We must get rid of this social curse.
