Robert Bruce was a famous king of Scotland. His kingdom was invaded by his enemies. He fought bravely but lost. In order to save his life, he fled away from his kingdom and took shelter in a remote cave.
The king was always in a pensive mood for his unhappy condition. Once he was lying in the cave. Suddenly he saw a spider trying hard to reach the ceiling of the cave. It failed again and again but did not lose heart. At last it became successful after many unsuccessful attempts. Seeing this, the king felt inspired to regain his kingdom. He then collected his soldiers and attacked his enemies again. This time his enemies were defeated and he regained his lost kingdom.
Moral of the Story: Failure Is the Pillar of Success.
