Earthquake

Earthquake means a sudden movement of a part of the earth’s surface. Sometimes, the earth shakes suddenly for natural reasons. This sudden violent movement of the earth's surface is called an earthquake. At present, it is the worst natural disaster in the world. There are many causes of the earthquake. Firstly, the eruption of volcanoes is one of the major reasons for the earthquake. Secondly, diffusion of heat is the other cause of the earthquake. Earth pressure increase, landslides,  water entrance inside the earth, and volcanic substances inside the earth are also responsible for the earthquake. Earthquake causes great loss to us. It is very devastating. It demolishes many beautiful buildings, roads, and cities. It has snatched away millions of valuable lives and made billions of people homeless. There are many ways to minimize the losses. We should build houses by following the expert’s advice and rules. The government should come forward and take proper steps to control illegal construction. Educated people and media also should come forward to grow public awareness. We should also plant more and more trees.
